Police Grade Pepper Spray is Available for Civilian Self Defense Use
Do you ever wonder why cops are so tough when the rest of us are terrified? Maybe it has something to do with the weapons they carry. Law enforcement personnel go through rigorous self defense training, and they have the tools to back it up. After all, wouldn’t your safety be more assured if you know judo, or carried a big stick and knew some tricks for using it?
One of the police officer’s favorite non-lethal weapons is police grade pepper spray, with an OC (oleoresin capsicum) content of 15%. This pepper spray is strong enough to make a charging bear change his mind, and using it on people tends to render them compliant with very little argument. Basically, a face full of pepper spray activates an opponent’s biology: you won’t hurt his feelings, but you’ll make him cry. His nose will stream, tears will course down in rivers and his burning eyes will be stapled shut by pain. He will cough and choke as his lungs try to expel the irritating oil. Suddenly, he’s not so scary anymore!
Depending on where you live, police grade pepper spray may be available to you, but check with your local law enforcement agency about restrictions. If you’re working in private security, you may want a police-size canister because you may face more potential attacks than civilians do. But if you’re a civilian who wants the high-test version, this pepper spray may be just the thing to round out your arsenal of personal self defense.
